Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness & Nutrition
It is imperative that proper fitness and nutrition are prioritized throughout and after pregnancy. During pregnancy, proper nutrition and fitness can support and enhance fetal development, maintain weight, prevent gestational diabetes, help combat fatigue, improve mood, and more.
After conception, it is vital to prioritize your health and wellness to heal properly and support your breastfeeding newborn. With my experience and expertise, I am fully confident I can help you reach your ideal state of health! My certifications include :

Hi, I'm Shanan!
I’ve been a dedicated nurse for 14 years, with 10 of those years spent in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
As a mother of two daughters, managing a full-time job and parenting left me neglecting my own health. This realization led me to hire a weight loss coach, transforming my life and igniting my passion to help other women achieve the same.
Inspired by my patients’ questions about self-care, I founded The Female Focus. My mission is to empower women to transform their health and fitness, making self-care a priority. Join me on this journey to becoming the best version of yourself!

Programs
My programs are completely customized to each client based on your needs! Each program includes an initial phone call, a customized workout plan, a customized nutrition plan, and bi-weekly check-in phone calls. If you need more support you have the option to upgrade for additional support phone calls.
Each plan is designed to ensure safety and health for both mother and baby, focusing on moderate exercise and balanced nutrition. It’s my goal to help your body heal and perform optimally so you can feel your best.
